  2. Best Army - Best presented army, including painting of figures and vehicles, basing, and history.
  3. Best Platoon - Each player may nominate one platoon for best paint and basing. Players will vote for best platoon in secret ballot.

Tournament Scenarios
Each round is three hours (up from the normal two and a half to allow for more time for moving lots of teams).

Round One
Free for All or Encounter

Round Two:
No Retreat or Fighting Withdrawal - No Retreat is the tournament version of Hold the Line from the FOW web site. Please review the No Retreat mission here.

Round Three
Hasty Assault or Breakout.
The Hasty Assault and Breakout scenarios are listed in Das Book.  Please familiarize yourself  with these scenarios before play!

In all rounds, the second scenario is played if BOTH players agree. Otherwise, the first scenario will be played.

Force Structures
No army may exceed 1500 points but may be less than 1500. All armies must be drawn from Blitzkrieg . No pdfs are allowed.

New Point System!
Finally, we will be using a new scoring system for all rounds, rather than the standard Battlefront scoring.
The system is as follows:

  1. Both players start with 100 points.
  2. Players then add the percentage of their platoons that SURVIVED the scenario.
  3. Players then subtract from that total the percentage their opponents platoons that survived.
  4. If one player wins the scenario outright, they add 50 points to their total.

Example: If I had a list with 10 platoons, and I lost 2 of those 10, I would gain 80 points.  If my opponent had an army with 12 platoons, and lost 4 of those 12,  I would subtract 67 points from that total.  Then, if I won the scenario conditions, I would gain an additional 50 points.

My final score would then be: 100 + 80 - 67 + 50 = 163 points.
My opponents score would be : 100 + 67 - 80 = 113 points.

For a full presentation of this point system, please go here. (Scroll down to the second post.)
